Schools out, Summer's in full-swing and the little ones are ready to life the "high life!" Help them ground down, while also learning new skills of mindfullness, community, physical health and overall well being.This class will run 4-weeks, in two sessions this Summer 2018.$15 drop in/classEach class with have a theme:- Gratitude: what does it mean, when do you experience and why weshould express it.- Kindness:being a good citizen, helping others, contributing to family andcommunity, how we treat ourselves and others.- Mindfulness: living in the present moment, how ego gets in the way,how technology and social media makes this difficult, calming techniques.- Health: Physical and mental well being, mindful eating, how yoga andstretching can help prevent injuries- Confidence: self esteem, supporting and empowering one another, notallowing ourselves to be defined by others standards set by media orother influences.- Creativity: finding ways to express yourself creativity through movementand the arts, different outlets to celebrate our unique individuality.Each class will include:- Breathwork and meditation- Team/community building activities- Yoga poses and short flows- Games like yoga freeze, yoga twister and pass the chime- Creativity activities like making mandalas, rock coloring, etc.- Journaling to better process thoughts and feelings, to release frustration and worries and to learn more about themselves.
